The UWG Choirs will present Dreams: A Celebration of MLK’s “I Have a Dream” Speech on Thursday, April 27 at 7:30pm at the Carrollton Center for the Arts.
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s famous speech, the concert will feature selections by Eric Whitaker and Sarah Quartel, as well as an arrangement of the spiritual Hold On by Daniel Jackson. The concert will conclude with a rousing rendition of My Country ‘Tis of Thee arranged by Dan Forrest and accompanied by brass and percussion.
General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and UWG faculty and staff. UWG students are free. Tickets may be purchased through the Carrollton Arts Center or at the door the night of the concert.
