The Carrollton Wind Ensemble, an outreach program of the Carroll Symphony Orchestra, will perform an original score, written by Elijah Green, for the 1925 Silent Movie, “Phantom of the Opera,” directed by Rupert Julian and from the novel written by Gaston Leroux. The iconic phantom is played by Lon Chaney. Our guest composer, Mr. Green is a native of Carrollton. He considers himself as a multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer, conductor and composer, his musical versatility speaks for itself and sets him apart. Mr. Green was a Young Composer Winner with the Carroll Symphony Orchestra. His musicianship and compositional skills earned him a presidential scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Elijah recently obtained a degree in Screen Scoring and aspires to compose original music for films, video games, and other interactive media.
